The rehabilitation works of Dalí's birthplace began in September 2019 and almost four years later face the end. But the renovation project of this space, which saw the birth of the painter in 1904, began much earlier. In 1995 with the then mayor, Marià Lorca , the Tamaris store -which had been the notary's office of his father- and part of the mezzanine were bought. Once the doors open, the Dalí House is incorporated into the tourist offer of the city in an immersive experience in which the context, the time and the different aspects of the painter are explained.
